Thanks, Dave. Here's a Tiny URL link which should take interested folks to all these animations listed in one place on YouTube : http://tinyurl.com/ylap2ch
Will try to add this link to our site list in the next day or so ... and will e-mail you directly about contacting Drew Dickens.

I"m delighted to comment more on this series of excellent video shorts. They're done by Drew Dickens' team of 1800NeedHim; NeedHim has this series of evang videos posted on YouTube. Just search for "needhim" on Youtube and they should all come up. The series is on the Ten Commandments (obliquely, of course); each short focuses on the personal (True) story of someone who has broken one of the commandments, and how their search for peace led them to Jesus. The videos start off with a blocky cartoon-like character speaking, and as they share their story the cartoon character dissolves into a real person whose real story this is. The kicker line is "Through Jesus, I'm real again." I love this series!

I really like these, Dave. Is there a website where they all appear in one place? If so, I'd like to add them to our International Animation Links list: http://www.animax35.org/animation_links.html

Or if you have more info about them, we could post an item about them on our News & Needs page, if it would be helpful: http://www.animax35.org/news_needs.html

I want to add that I think stories like this, from other countries in Asia, will connect with Japanese. What I am not interested in doing is material from the West dubbed into Japanese -- we have more than enough of that around. I will take a look...
