I should have mentioned in my last comment that backward translation is so important for really critical projects. Projects like "Visual Bible" must be absolutely accurate so once the translation is finished in the target language a second equally t…
Joanna, good comments and observations. The tension is always there on what to do. Subtitles is often my first choice if there is question about the effectiveness of the film in the target culture. This streamlines cost but give us time to evaluate.…
I agree with what Joanna has written and am thrilled that people are looking to impact beyond just the West where we have materials in abundance, but would like to add a couple of critical points. Much of your decision making process on making mater…
I arrived back from Hong Kong on the 13th. Good to be home. Our new Marantz PMD661 recorder did a great job in the voice over work. Loved the fact that it was so small and well built. Did have trouble with the SD chips. The regular SD 1 Gig worked great but the SD 2Gig C2 chip didn't work well at all. Come to find out it was the firm ware as I expected. I will update that when my team comes back to the US. We'll leave it alone until after the recordings are done.
Just a note that I'm headed to Hong Kong this Monday to work on a movie we shot for Vietnam called "The Bridge". I'm just asking folks to keep this in prayer as there is a great deal of work to do in around 1 week prior to heading back to the States for my daughter's graduation from college.
We have been having difficulties with making a window burn time code DVD for the PAL film. We know how to do it but there were some problems with a tape another studio worked on. Just wish that I were back… Continue

Hey Tom,
Yeah I remembered sending you a message a couple of months back about a possibility of a visit in Chiangmai. I am here in Media Village Cape town, South Africa now but will be back in Chiangrai by October. When I get back I would still like to meet up and visit your base. Keep in touch!

Bless you Tom, we need to get together sometime. Where are you now? Carol and I have moved to Chiang Mai and love it. It has been a bit hectic lately as we have had to take charge of our Create International centre here due to our local director leaving the ministry. We would love to connect with you sometime. Our centre is running a school now and we would love to have you input into it.
If you could look at your calendar and let me know some dates that would be good. Also your address. I travel with a gps system. Just answer on my email at freedom@ and that will get the info to me. Sounds like fun! Say hey to Mike for me.
I would love it if we could get together. Not much to tell about XTTV...things have not moved forward since we last spoke. But it would be great to visit and maybe toss around a few ideas about getting kids excited about the club!
