The film can certainly be done elsewhere. Most of the film takes place inside buildings. New England is full of good European looking houses and small neighborhoods. The french restaurant could also be found somewhere else. Still, it would be fun ...

Well, that's better than I expected. I've not seen the 7D yet. The other trade off is audio. It's not a big deal when you're a major crew, but often I'm having to do shots where I'm on my own. I tend to use the audio in's on the EX1's we have maki...

TearFund's Forgotten Children

Forgotten Children in Cambodia from Tearfund Ireland on Vimeo.

We had the honour of helping TearFund create a new video piece to tell the story of forgotten children around the world.

This piece focused on street orphans with disabilities in Phnom Phen, Cambodia and the work TearFund is supporting to enable foster Christian Cambodian foster families to provide,… Continue

Following up on Urban Soul documentary

All in all, we are glad to have been asked to serve both Urban Soul and the national network here by covering the festival and getting interviews of the participants and leaders. Basically the network used the footage they shot on Friday with our footage cut in a bit to make it look like they were there the entire week. Our edits were unused.

While this was to be expected, we had hoped more of the focus would have remained comments made that highlighted the desire to see young people "being" th… Continue

Never underestimate the power of media...

This has been nothing less than a supernatural week at Urban Soul in Dublin Ireland. God showed up! We ended up with so much great footage.

The producer and the presenter from the national TV network and I ended up developing a great relationship together. I'm fairly sure this was the first time either of them had really been around a group of Christ followers committed to a biblical life of faith. They expected a few teenage "rejects" in a small church room making sandwiches for homeless peopl… Continue

Pray as we produce a documentary for national televison

We really need your prayers this week.

Urban Soul is a unique event bringing together hundreds of youth from across Ireland for the single purpose of performing indiscriminate acts of kindness in Dublin that serve others and reflect God's goodness. Last year the city councils were suspicious. This year they are supportive. It begins Tuesday and lasts through Friday evening of this week.

For more info you can go to their website at http://urbansoul.Continue

Thank you Durand. I'd be happy to share.

A great starting point for nonprofits is to use PPT (2007, preferred), and then use either Adobe Captivate or Articulate Studio '09 (www.articulate.com)

More cost effective as a start.

Durand,

''Vous avez manqué quelque chose?'' That's what you told the carpenter who came back to your house the day I visited you in France. I never forgot about comprehending the phrase in full...I needed to stay 3 more months to get my French up to tourist level. I saw your name on the site today and had to write. Michael Pluess recently stayed with us a few days here in Indy. I hope you are well. john gaither

Sounds like you've been busy lately. I checked out Clear Media's web site - it's great. You guys have been burning the midnight oil.

We need to connect more. Sometime it would be great to Skype just to stay in touch. It was nice to have Ruth here for an evening when she was in town.
