Two quagmired projects
This is classic. I run a small, Christian, non-profit, media ministry that attempted to produce two short films this Summer (5min/ea). We got actors, the production warehouse, props, funding (shoestring), rigging and time. Everything went like clockwork for the preproduction and production. But we have hit a snag in the post.
Our editor had to take a new job to make ends meet. I totally understand that but the upshot is that now we have no editor. So, I am going out on a limb to ask if anyone here would be willing to partner with me to get these two films done.
My first film is posted here on VSN but you can see it HERE.
The preproduction details on the two projects are HERE.
These films are designed to be almost completely non-verbal.
The films were shot in HD at 24p.
The films have already been captured, logged and one has a start on editing in FCP.
We also have a film composer waiting to write original scores.
My vision for these films is to use them as illustrations in talks that I do in churches. The themes for these two are prayer (Download) and works (Boxed). I have seen first hand the power of non-verbal communication in slipping past the information saturated mind and delivering a message on an emotional level. It works.
