Howdy all, wondered if you had a "go to" blog or news feed you hit on a regular basis for faith-based film info? I've started a fun little twitter account @faithbasedfilm that feeds via RSS several of the popular blogs and news feeds that routinely post about faith-based film. This actually started as an experiment to feed the various faith-film sources on the web I sometimes read into my own personal twitter feed. It has grown pretty fast and proves to be an interesting stream of very current info, news and views ... perhaps helpful to your own endeavors.
You found it! I just started that blog to expand a bit and provide a central place to capture what's going on in my mind and heart. I feel like I have been talking to myself. But if I know someone is listening, I'm happier!
Hey I just added your mindsoulstory feed to the account with @tkhaz as the attribution, great stuff.
What are your thoughts on feeding the very good blog post-discussion here out, using the feed "Everyone's Blog Posts". Not sure how Clyde and the others (Chuck) feel about that ... is this network considered more of an insider sort of thing .. or an open discussion at the crossroads.
Clyde sounds good, realizing not all posts are film only but much of what is posted here is film related and interesting. Would love to see the network and exposure continue to grow.
Clyde, first feed of "Eveyone's blog", attributed to Visual Story Network is up .. will be interesting to see over time if this draws in some activity as the @faithbasedfilm account grows
I have my own Twitter that has VSN elements as well as personal content. You have the @faithbasedfilm and a personal twitter account also? How much crossover is there between the two?
Clyde, great to see @visualstorynet as a twitter account, hmm good question .. I have separated the two for the most part, the @faithbasedfilm is more of a RSS news and blog aggregator with a few original tweets where as @druckenmiller is more my own thoughts, work, interesting links, etc. There is some cross over of course. @fbf is probably not the way to do a twitter account as it is mostly automated.
Guess I'd set up @visualstorynet as an organizational twitter account that perhaps feeds via RSS current activity of the network (like the Everyone's Blog Posts or another feed from the network) and then have you or perhaps a couple key folks within the network do original tweets on network activity, interesting links, thoughts loosely connected to the network's theme and then of course engage folks on twitter retweeting, replying, DM'ing etc. That could be more work than desired and perhaps not the intended purpose of the network. There is some good discussion going on here though and would be interesting to draw in others out there.
Might be surprised as to the results, some (self included) may be more likely to look at the latest VSN tweet rather than come into the site, then as time in day and interest allows, hit the link associated with the tweet coming into the site to read a post or see a new video post. ..anyway just some random thoughts.

I want to add that I think stories like this, from other countries in Asia, will connect with Japanese. What I am not interested in doing is material from the West dubbed into Japanese -- we have more than enough of that around. I will take a look...
